What To Expect Sunday Morning

Please remember that what works for one family does not work for another, so if you would like to have your children in the service with you, they are more than welcome to remain with you. Also, our children’s ministry program is experiencing a season of growth, and there may be Sundays in which our capacity has been reached, and because of this children will need to join their family in the service.
Calvary Kids programs will be offered for nursery, toddler, preschool and elementary aged children during both services (9 a.m. & 11 a.m.). (Please note: during the summer we have Children’s Ministries for Toddlers and Preschoolers only at both services. All other ages worship together in the sanctuary.) Our Calvary Kids programs have limited space, and space will be allotted on a first-come, first-served basis: In the nursery we will be able to have 4 children. The toddler and preschool classes will both have a maximum of 8 children and in the elementary class our numbers are not limited. These numbers are subject to change based on child to teacher ratio.
Calvary Kids check in will be available starting 20 minutes before each service begins (8:40/10:40). Thank you!
Parents will need to complete a 2025/26 Parent Consent - Long Form for each of their children prior to attending any Calvary Kids programs.
We recommend parents do a general health check for each of their children prior to attending any Calvary Kids programs.
Upon entering the building, please check your children in at the check in table just inside the front doors. A Calvary Kids check in volunteer will be at the table and ready to help you.
Once checked in, please bring your children who are attending the elementary classes into the sanctuary with you for welcome and worship. (Nursery, Toddler and Preschool children can immediately be brought downstairs to their classroom where volunteers will be present)
After worship, a verbal cue accompanied by a slide on the screen will be given when it is time for Elementary aged Calvary Kids to meet their teachers in the foyer, proceed directly downstairs to their classrooms, confirm attendance and then start their Calvary Kids program.
Our dedicated safety team members will also be present at the front doors and at the bottom of the stairs to assure all of the children are guided safely where they need to go.
We will continue to use the number notification system upstairs at the front of the church if a child requires assistance. Parents will be assigned a personal identification number (PIN) for their family located on the parent sticker printed off at check in.
We encourage parents to pick up their children promptly at the end of the service so our volunteers can clean and reset the classrooms.
Personal belongings should be kept to a minimum (ie: water bottles and Bibles) and should be labeled with your child’s name.
Please note: On the 3rd Sunday of each month all of our children will join us for the entire service except the Toddlers. On these weeks, the nursery will be available for parents to use and is equipped with a live feed of the service, but it will not be staffed by volunteers.
